Types of vertebrates glands

Vertebrates have two types of glands.
Exocrine glands
Exocrine glands, release chemicals into ducts that, leading to the empty into body cavities
or onto body surfaces such as, mammary, salivary, and sweat gland.

Endocrine glands

Endocrine glands, have lack ducts, and but they release chemical messengers that is
called hormones, directly into the tissue space and release next to each endocrine cell. These hormones then diffuse into the bloodstream, which carries them throughout the body to their target cells.
